·         West African LNG Feasibility studies and  Decision Analysis to optimize field development plans and timing from offshore gas/condensate fields to ensure that gas supply commitments to a planned West African LNG liquefaction facility are met

·         Field re-activation study to repair damaged facilities and determine most economical means to restore approximately 100,000 BOPD of shut-in oil production

·         Study to determine the most profitable means of efficiently increasing oil export capacity at a 500,000 BOPD major export oil terminal

·         Project Manager to evaluate and market South Texas gas fields with  60 BCF reserves

Performed economic evaluations and risk analyses of worldwide acquisitions, divestitures and major investment opportunities. Screened and evaluated corporations for acquisition possibility.

·         Evaluated economics and assessed risks of exploration bids, farm-ins/outs, asset acquisitions, divestitures and investment decisions for transactions up to $500 million. 

·         Screened and evaluated approximately 10 corporations with market capitalization up to  $ 5 billion per company for potential acquisition.

·         Designed and implemented improved economic evaluation and risk analysis techniques, tools and processes. 

Senior Coordinator –Southeast Asia

Developed a growth strategy and business plan for new business development in South and Southeast Asia.  Initiated and designed new environment and safety programs and guidelines. 

·         Growth strategy and business plan for Southeast Asia resulted in the drilling of over 8 exploration wells and two offshore gas discoveries.

·         Conducted economic evaluations and risk analyses for new exploration ventures and reserve acquisition opportunities valued up to $250 million.

Developed and implemented initiatives to increase profitability in the production of nearly 500,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in Latin America and West Africa.

·         Led initiative to minimize crude oil inventory levels by more timely liftings that improved division earnings up to 5%. 

·         Negotiated an offshore platform and facility construction contract valued over $20 million.

·         Initiated and designed a formalized human resources succession planning program for approximately 100 key management employees.

Designed exploration drilling and formation evaluation programs, specified drilling, coring and testing equipment, negotiated drilling contracts, and optimized drilling operations  

·         Managed operations of start-up phases of two exploratory drilling campaigns.

·         Drilled and evaluated results of 10 exploration wells – 5 in the Brazilian Amazon jungle using a heli-rig and 5 offshore Gulf of Suez.  Appraised and evaluated 2 discoveries.
